Pyro Pies Wood Fired Pizza is a food truck based in Coalmont, Tennessee. This page explains what information this website collects, why, and what we do with it. The short version: very little, only what you choose to send us, and we never sell it.

What you send us

If you use the catering inquiry form, we receive what you type into it: your name, email address, phone number if you give one, and the details of your event, such as the date, location, start time, guest count and any notes.

We use that information for one thing, which is answering your inquiry and, if you book us, arranging your event. It is emailed to us, and a private copy is also saved in the password-protected back end of our website, where only we can see it. That copy is never shown on the site itself. It exists so an inquiry is not lost if an email goes astray. Sending an inquiry does not add you to our email list, and we do not share or sell your inquiry details to anyone.

If you email or call us directly, we use what you tell us in the same way.

Our email list

If you join our email list, we receive your email address, plus your first name and birthday month if you give them. We never ask for the day or the year of your birthday.

We also note how you reached our signup and catering inquiry forms. If you followed one of our own links, such as the one in a Facebook post, we record which link it was. We also record the name of the website or app you came from, such as Facebook, Google or ChatGPT, if your browser shares it or the link you clicked includes it. We keep only the site’s name, never the page you were on there or anything you searched for, and only for people who sign up or send an inquiry. With a catering inquiry we also note the first page of our own site you opened. It tells us which of our posts and ads are worth what we spend on them.

We also count how many visits arrive through our own links, such as an ad or a Facebook post. That count is one number per day for each link, and nothing about you is stored with it.

We use them to send you your buy one, get one code, our weekly email with the schedule and any specials, and your birthday offer if you gave us your birthday month.

Your details are kept in two places: a private copy in the password-protected back end of this website, and MailerLite, the email service that stores our list and sends the emails. Like most email services, MailerLite records whether an email is opened and which links in it are clicked. How MailerLite handles your information is set out in its own privacy policy.

Your code is only ever sent by email. When you use it at the truck window, our staff look it up on a password-protected screen that shows the name, email address and signup date that go with it, along with any other signup that looks like the same person, so they can check the code is yours.

If you tick the box to join It’s Loaded’s list too, we send your name, email address and birthday month to It’s Loaded’s website for their list, and nothing else. It’s Loaded is our sister food truck, and its list runs under its own privacy policy. If you ticked the Pyro Pies box on It’s Loaded’s website, they sent us the same details, and you are on our list just as if you had signed up here.

Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom, and unsubscribing stops the emails right away. We keep a record of your signup afterward, so the same inbox cannot claim a second code. If you want that deleted too, ask us as described below.

Ordering

Online ordering is handled by EasyEats, a separate company. When you order through the Order Online links on this site, you leave pyropies.com and the details needed to take and pay for your order go to EasyEats, not to this website. How EasyEats handles that information is set out in EasyEats’ own privacy policy.

What this website collects on its own

This site does not use cookies to track you, does not run analytics, and does not use advertising or tracking pixels, including the Meta or Facebook pixel.

Two things happen that are worth knowing about:

• Hosting. The site is hosted by Hostinger. Like almost every web host, their servers record standard technical details about each visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and to keep the site running.
• Fonts. The typefaces on this site are loaded from Google Fonts. When your browser loads them, Google receives your IP address, as it would for any site using Google Fonts.

Our Facebook app

We use a Facebook app called Pyropies Posting to publish posts, such as our weekly schedule, to our own Pyro Pies Facebook Page.

That app only posts to our Page. It does not collect, access or store any information about visitors to this website or about people on Facebook, and it does not ask anyone to log in with Facebook.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Seeing or deleting your information

If you have sent us an inquiry or joined our email list and want to know what we hold about you, or want it deleted, email us at pyropiespizza@gmail.com or call (931) 201-9555, and we will take care of it. To stop our emails, use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of them.

Changes

If what this site collects changes, we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
